PM Congratulates Al-Sisi on Eid al-Fitr

Egypt’s Prime Minister، Moustafa Madbouly sent on Sunday a congratulatory telegram to President، Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi on Eid al-Fitr occasion.

In the telegram، Madbouly hailed president al-Sisi’s sincere efforts to achieve the comprehensive Renaissance across Egypt in order to fulfill the aspirations of Egyptians and secure a bright future for them.

Noteworthy, Head of National Astronomy and Geophysics Institute Gad El Kadi said Saturday that Egypt is set to celebrate Eid El-Fitr on Tuesday 4 June.

In the same context، Head of the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG)، Hatem Ouda، announced on Wednesday that Eid Al-Fitr prayers will be performed in Cairo at 5:18 a.m. and at 5:19 a.m. in Giza.

Ahead of Eid Al-Fitr، the Egyptian government has intensified its preparations by declaring a state of emergency in various sectors، facilities and archaeological sites.

The Islamic Eid al-Fitr (the feast to break the fast\ Lesser Bairam)، comes at the end of Ramadan to end a 30-day obligatory ritual of fasting from sunrise to sunset.

The process of determining the beginning and end of the 12 lunar months in the 354-day Islamic calendar relies both on astronomical calculations and the traditional sighting of the moon.
