The Egyptian national team is beefing up in preparation for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2019 scheduled to be hosted by Egypt starting June 21.
The Pharaohs’ official Facebook account published some photos of players during today’s training session in the gym.
Arsenal’s Mohamed Al-Neny has joined the squad earlier Sunday to participate in the team’s preparations ahead of the African tournament.
Egypt coach Javier Aguirre has officially announced the Pharaohs 25-man squad that will take on their rivals in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations، with few to no surprises related to the projected choices of the squad members.
The draw for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations has been conducted in Egypt back in April with the hosts being drawn in a tough group with DR Congo، Uganda and Zimbabwe.
The tournament will commence with Egypt vs Zimbabwe on Friday 21st of June in Cairo.
