Egypt’s national team beefs up to meet Tanzania friendly next Thursday

Egypt’s first football team (also known as the Pharaohs) is beefing up to clash with its counterpart of Tanzania in a friendly game.

The Pharaohs led by Mexican coach Javier Aguirre are holding a training camp in Alexandria. They performed training session this morning.

The two squads meet on the pitch of Borg El Arab Stadium، Alexandria، next Thursday at 6:00 pm (Cairo local time).

Tanzania’s first football team delegation arrived in Cairo last Friday.

The game will be held ahead of the 2019 CAF African Cup of nations.

On the other hand، Guinea’s mission of first national football team will arrive in Alexandria on June 14.

They will engage in another friendly game against the Pharaohs on June 16 held at Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria.

Noteworthy، Egypt won the right to host 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

CAF President Ahmad Ahmad signed the contract with EFA President Hany Abu Rida، as the championship scheduled runs from June 21 to July 19.

Sixteen members of the CAF executive office voted for Egypt، while South Africa received a shy vote.
