Egyptian superstar، Mohamed Hamaki will perform Saturday evening at the Jeddah Season festival، in Jeddah، Saudi Arabia.
The Jeddah Season festival، which began on June 8 and runs until July 18، forms part of a major drive to boost tourism in the Kingdom، according Arab news.
Most of the Jeddah Season events will be spread across the venues of King Abdullah Sports City، Jeddah’s historical area، Al-Hamra Corniche and Jeddah Waterfront.
The entertainment program aims to highlight the city as a top visitor destination while at the same time encouraging partnerships with local businesses. Organizers also hope to generate up to 20،000 job and volunteering opportunities for young Saudis throughout the course of the festivities.
Jeddah Season kicked off with a crowd-pulling concert by Emirati singer Ahlam، known as Queen of the Gulf، followed on day two by popular Saudi vocalist Mohammed Abdo، and Egyptian star Amr Diab on the third day، with shows held at the King Abdullah Sports City.
General supervisor of Jeddah Season، Raed Abuzinada، said the festival formed part of a national initiative to promote the tourism sector، which was considered a major contributor to the Kingdom’s economy.
He said the issuing of electronic tourist visas had been linked to the purchase of tickets for any Jeddah Season event. Visitors buying festival tickets online would، where required، be automatically guaranteed a tourist visa which could be issued within three minutes (details at sharek.com.sa)، Abuzinada added.
Noteworthy، Mohamed Hamaki is an Egyptian singer، and one of the Middle East’s adored singers.
Mohamed was born in Cairo in November 4، 1975. He studied music in music school and released his first single in 1997.
Hamaki released his first album in 2003 called "Lets live" which achieved a huge success and encouraged him to release 3 more similar albums، following that، he sang the soundtrack of Ahmed Helmy’s 2006 film “Gaalatny Mogreman” (She Made Me a Criminal).
In 2010، he won the award "Best Arabia Act" at the MTV Europe Music Awards and music award in 2006 for "Ahla Haga Fiki".
He also achieved the MTV music awards as best singer 2008، and also received awards for best album and best video clip in the year 2008.
In 2018، Hamaki judged the Arabian version ‘The Voice’ season 4، the Arabic version of Dutch show The Voice of Holland، along with Elissa، Assi El-Hellani، and Ahlam.
Assi El-Hellani were the only remaining judge from season 3، after superstars Sherine، Kazem Al-Saher and Saber al-Rubai had left.
Hamaki's music career consisted of more than a dozen songs and 7 albums.
Nogoum Records Production Company debuted on 24 January Hamaki's new album "Kol Youm Men Dah"، on its YouTube channel.
The album comes after a working period that lasted more than 3 years.
The album includes 20 songs.
In this Album، Mohamed cooperated with a notable group of songwriters and prominent composers including، Ayman Bahgat Kamar، Amir Teima، Nader Abdallah، Khaled Taja.
He also cooperated with many poets including Tamer Hussien، Amr Mostafa، Sharif Taja، Tamer Ali، Mohamed Yehia and others.
This will be Hamaki’s third released album from Nogoum Records.
Hamaki’s last released album is “Omroh Ma Yeghib”، which was released in 2015.
