The Attorney General Chancellor Nabil Ahmed Sadeq ordered to dispatch a team of prosecutors from the Supreme State Security Prosecution and the Southern Cairo Prosecution to conduct the probe on the death of former president Mohamed Morsi this afternoon. The prosecutors accompanied by a team of forensic experts to autopsy body of the dead president. The AG also ordered to preserve cameras surveillance in the courtroom. He directed to investigate other defendants who were with the deceased inside the cage when he fell dead. The AG has also ordered reservation on the medical file of treatment of the deceased. A committee of senior forensic experts headed for the hospital where the deceased president lied. The Director of Forensic Medicine at the Ministry of Justice was tasked to prepare a forensic report on the causes of death ahead of permitting to the burial.
The Public Prosecution will continue to issue statements in this regard at the time.
