President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi said Tuesday that he agreed with his Belarus counterpart to improve the level of cooperation between the two countries.
These remarks come on the sidelines of signing a number of agreements with Belarus.
Al-Sisi added that he talked with his Belarus counterpart on enhancing economic cooperation and investments in many fields.
He added that such talks reflect the extent of close and friendly relations between Egypt and Belarus، in addition to the high level of cooperation that aim to strengthen trade between the two countries.
For his part، Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko hailed the progress currently witnessing by Egypt in political and economic spheres، noting that his talks with President Al-Sisi resulted in signing a number of agreements with Egypt.
Aleksandr added that Egypt is considered our main partners in Africa and the Middle East، especially after chairing over the African Union.
He confirmed that close relations between Egypt and Belarus is based on mutual trust.
He added that the geopolitical situation and the problem-solving approach in the region and the world were discussed.
He pointed out that the volume of economic exchange has been doubled between the two countries، stressing that the talks resulted in the importance of enhancing cooperation and strengthening the partnership between Egypt and Belarus.
