Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi on Wednesday laid a wreath at the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier in the Romanian capital of Bucharest.
Al-Sisi arrived in Romania earlier today and accorded an official reception ceremony upon his arrival at the presidential palace of Cotroceni، during which he held talks with his Romanian counterpart Klaus lohannis.
Official spokesman for the presidency Bassam Rady said that the Romanian president welcomed Al-Sisi over his first ever visit to Bucharest.
Lohannis also affirmed his country’s interest in enhancing relations with Egypt that enjoys pivotal role in the Middle East region and Africa، in addition to its balanced policy towards major challenges.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived here on Wednesday on an official visit to Romania coming from Minsk، the capital of Belarus، said Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi.
The Egyptian president will also have talks with the Speakers of the Senate and the House، said the spokesman.
The talks will take up means of boosting economic and political relations between the two countries along with coordination at the regional and international levels، added the spokesman.
