The first football national team of Cote D’Ivoire beat their counterpart of South Africa 1-0 over a game held this afternoon. The two teams met in the fourth group of 2019 Africa Cup of Nations ( AFCON) on the pitch of Al Slam Stadium، north east to Cairo. Jonathan Kodega scored for Cote D’Ivoire in the 65th minute into the game. The Ivorian team had put their rivals under pressure since the early minutes of the match. However، they could not score until the second half time. It is worth to mention that Egypt hosts AFCON over the period of June 21 to July 19. Twenty-four African national team compete to win the 32nd version of the African championship.
