Cairo Criminal Court، headed by Chancellor Mohamed Sherine، resumes on Wednesday the retrial of 28 defendants over the case، known as “Trespassing Egypt’s Eastern Borders”.
On January 28، 2011، prisons holding terrorism defendants and other convicts were attacked by militants who trespassed into Egypt through its eastern borders to free prisoners. The re-trial judge is Chancellor Mohamed Sherine Fahmy.
In 2013، Egypt banned the Brotherhood and designated it a terrorist organisation. Most of the group's leaders،، are in jail on violence and terror-related charges.
yesterday، Egypt’s security services managed to target 19 companies and economic entities، run by Muslim Brotherhood “MB” leaders in secret ways. The investment volume of these entities is estimated at 250 million pounds. the security services arrested those who are involved in these entities including Ziad al-Alimi، a former member of the People's Assembly. This comes in the framework of the Interior Ministry efforts to abort the destructive movements of the Muslim Brotherhood. The security services also seized papers and regulatory documents، amounts of money، and electronic devices.
