Justice Minister، UK Ambassador discuss judicial cooperation

In the framework of Egypt’s government keenness to enhance ties with Britain in various fields، Justice minister، chancellor، Mohamed Hossam Adul Rahim received on Sunday، United Kingdom (UK) Ambassador to Egypt، Sir Geoffrey Adams at the ministry headquarters. 

During the meeting، they discussed ways to enhance judicial cooperation between Britain and Egypt especially in extradition of criminals، and exchanging of judicial papers.

Sir Geoffrey Adams has been appointed as the U.K's ambassador to Egypt in succession to Mr John Casson.

Sir Geoffrey took up his appointment in September 2018. He previously served as the ambassador to The Hague and Tehran، and was part of diplomatic missions to Paris، Jerusalem، Cape Town and Jeddah، and assumed several positions at the Foreign Office 

He was the deputy head of mission in Cairo in 1998-2001.
