Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan، Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces will be Sada El-Balad’s newsmaker on Thursday.

Mohamed Bin Zayed held 21 meetings with Egypt’s President Al-Sisi، since assuming power in 2013، as this proves the solid common vision regarding many files.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met Wednesday with Abu Dhabi's powerful crown prince، Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan.

The two leaders were also met in Alexandria’s Ras Al Tin Palace in March 2019. Both sides tackled the bilateral relations and the regional and international issues of mutual concern.

In August 2018، the Egyptian president held a meeting with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his visit to Cairo.

The duo discussed all ways of enhancing bilateral relations and the latest developments on a number of regional issues.

On the other hand، the Egyptian president، in February 2018، visited the United Arab Emirates to discuss ways of cooperation.

On June 7، 2014، a high-level Emirati delegation led by Bin Zayed participated in Al-Sisi’s inauguration ceremony as Egypt’s president to open a new page in the Egyptian-Emirati Relations page under a new leadership.

President Al Sisi paid his first visit to the UAE in 2015 at the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan، who participated in the World Future Energy Summit، held in January of that year.

Egypt and the UAE have a concrete economic and political relationship which has developed after President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi gained power in 2013، as the UAE offered substantial financial support to Egypt.

According to latest indices، Egypt’s exports to UAE jumped during the first half of 2017-2018 FY reaching $1.204 billion compared to $1.126 billion during the same period of 2016، marking a seven percent increase.

"The UAE is always keen to exchange views with the Egyptian leadership about the sources of threats to regional security، including the recent terrorist and sabotage acts that targeted commercial vessels off the UAE waters and Saudi oil facilities over the past few days،" Sheikh Mohamed added.

"The UAE-Egyptian relations are a robust tenet for regional security and stability، as the two countries are working together to counter terrorism and extremism and to stand up to any attempts to meddle into the internal affairs of Arab countries.

We both endeavor to protect our states against the malicious agendas of armed militias in a way that supports the development of Arab countries and their peoples' rights to a decent life away from conflicts and destructive disputes،" Sheikh Mohamed continued to say.
