Mercedes-Benz has announced pricing for the all-new 2020 GLS450، and with a base price of $76،195، it's a $5050 leap over the 2019 model. The 2020 GLS brings a lot of bang for the extra bucks، though، with a longer list of standard equipment and more advanced technology features، as the Car News said.
For starters، in place of the outgoing GLS450's twin-turbo V-6، the new GLS450 comes with Mercedes-Benz's turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine that has a hybrid-assist system. We've tested this engine out in a variety of the brand's other products and found it to be silky smooth and plenty potent. Mercedes-Benz has not yet released pricing information for the V-8–powered GLS580، but it's sure to start higher than the $96،745 price of the 2019 GLS550، which used Benz's old 4.7-liter V-8. Standard dual 12.3-inch displays stretch about two-thirds the length of the GLS's dashboard and dwarf the 2019 base model's single 7.0-inch display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also newly standard، as are Mercedes's new MBUX infotainment system، wireless charging، and a Burmester surround sound stereo system.
The new GLS450 is offered in both six and seven-passenger seating configurations، with the second row captain's chairs being offered at no additional charge. Mercedes has also equipped the base GLS's interior with power front seats that have memory and lumbar support، a 64-color ambient interior lighting system، and a 115-volt household-style power outlet.
