Shoukry Set to Attend Arab League Council Meeting in Bahrain

The Palestinian cause and the situation in the Gaza Strip will be of utmost priority at both the ministerial meeting and the Arab Summit, according to the ministry.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sameh Shoukry, is set to leave Cairo late on Monday for Manama, Bahrain’s capital. He will attend the ministerial meeting of the Arab League Council as part of the preparations for the upcoming 33rd Arab Summit.

The upcoming Tuesday meeting, as announced by the foreign ministry, is set to tackle draft resolutions that will be presented to Arab leaders at the summit.

Let’s talk about the latest updates from Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Lebanon, Comoros, and Yemen. Additionally, we’ll delve into the efforts to strengthen Arab national security and combat terrorism.

At Tuesday’s meeting, Shoukry will also meet with several Arab counterparts and engage with the media.

The 33rd Arab Summit, to be held on Thursday, will be attended by many Arab leaders.

On Saturday, Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul-Gheit said that countries advocating for the two-state solution for Israel-Palestine must expedite their efforts to translate this vision into reality.
