Al-Azhar Grand Imam congratulates President Sisi and the Egyptian people on the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai.
His Eminence, Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, extends his sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the Egyptian Armed Forces - leadership, officers, and soldiers - and the Egyptian people on the occasion of the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai.
Al-Azhar emphasized that the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai is a precious memory for all Egyptians, as it immortalizes a historical epic of pride, dignity, and the will not to relinquish any part of our beloved homeland's land. It pointed out that Egyptians will not forget the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers, who sacrificed what is dear and precious to them, in defense of this homeland's land.
On this occasion, Al-Azhar called on the Egyptian people to use these occasions as a motivation to continue working towards building the future of our beloved country, praying to the Almighty to bless our beloved Egypt with security, safety, stability, and prosperity, and to protect it from all harm and evil.
