Sisi Briefs Biden on Egyptian Peace Initiatives in Gaza

According to the Egyptian Presidency, El-Sisi emphasized to Biden the seriousness of any Israeli military escalation in the Palestinian city of Rafah, highlighting its potentially catastrophic dimensions for the worsening humanitarian crisis in the region and its impact on regional security and stability.

The two leaders affirmed the strategic partnership between Egypt and the United States, agreeing to strengthen bilateral cooperation relations at various levels.

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and US President Joe Biden connected to review the ongoing negotiations and Egyptian initiatives to secure a ceasefire in the Gaza conflict.

During the discussion with Biden, El-Sisi emphasized the importance of ensuring that Gaza receives full and adequate access to humanitarian aid. He also highlighted the significant efforts made by Egypt in this area.
